An EPP code — also called an auth code or transfer code — is like a secret password for your domain. It proves you are allowed to move it.
Where to get it
- Log in to the provider you are moving away from.
- Find the domain and look for “transfer”, “EPP” or “auth code”.
- Copy the code exactly — it is usually a jumble of letters, numbers and symbols.
