Already own a domain somewhere else? You can move it to us so everything lives in one place. This is called a transfer.
Before you start
- Make sure the domain is unlocked at your current provider.
- Get the transfer code (also called an EPP or auth code) from them.
- Check the domain is not about to expire.
Then
- Start a transfer with us and enter the domain name.
- Pop in the transfer code when we ask for it.
- Approve the transfer in the email that is sent to you.
Most transfers finish within a few days.
💡 Handy tip
Transferring usually adds an extra year onto your domain, so you do not lose any time you already paid for.
