Spotting phishing and scam emails Print

  • 0

Phishing emails try to trick you into handing over passwords or money by pretending to be someone you trust. A little care keeps you safe.

Warning signs

  • Scary or urgent messages (“act now or else!”).
  • Odd sender addresses, or links that do not match the real website.
  • Spelling mistakes, or requests for your password or payment.

What to do

Do not click. Go to the real website yourself by typing the address. Never share your password.

💡 Handy tip

We will never ask for your password by email. If a message claiming to be from us looks odd, contact support and we will confirm whether it is really us.

Still need a hand? Our support team is happy to help — open a support ticket and we’ll take care of it.
