To read your domain email in an app like Mail or Outlook, you add your account using either IMAP or POP. They are just two ways of fetching your messages.
Which one?
- IMAP keeps your mail on the server and syncs it across all your devices. Best for most people.
- POP downloads mail to one device and can remove it from the server. An older way, fine for a single computer.
Setting it up
In your mail app, add a new account and enter your email address, password, and the incoming and outgoing server details from your email provider.
