A transfer changes who looks after your domain — it does not have to change your website or email. A little prep keeps everything running.
Before you transfer
- Write down your current DNS records (things like A, MX and CNAME).
- Make sure those same records are set up at the new provider.
- Then start the transfer.
With matching DNS on both sides, visitors and email never notice the change.
