Sometimes you need to point your domain at a different company — for example, if your website is hosted elsewhere. You do that by changing your nameservers.
Step by step
- Log in and open your Domain Manager.
- Pick your domain and find Nameservers.
- Type in the nameservers your other provider gave you.
- Save your changes.
Prefer to keep our nameservers but change individual settings (like where your website or email points)? You can adjust those any time with our DNS Configuration Assistant (Domains Menu).
💡 Handy tip
Nameserver changes are not instant. They can take a few hours to spread around the world — this is called propagation.
