If your domain slipped past its grace period, it enters redemption. Think of it as the “lost and found” for domains — you can usually still get it back, but there is an extra fee.

- Redemption has a higher cost set by the registry, on top of the normal renewal.
- It is only available for a limited time before the domain is fully released.
- Once released, anyone can register it — so speed matters.
